Dominic and Elynn // College of Idaho Wedding

The College of Idaho played a very important roll in the making of a marriage for Elynn and Dominic.  They met each other just steps away from where he finally asked her to marry him. It was under the big pine tree right outside Sterry Hall in the Morrison Quadrangle so it was fitting to get celebrate there too! What a beautiful day for the perfect wedding.

In Home Lifestyle Session // The Woodford's

You know when a picture makes you "feel" something...like as if you were there? You can hear the laughter, feel the tickles, touch the little toes...? Everyone says that before you know it they are grown and you wonder where all the time went. When I walk into your home my goal is to document the "feel", allow you to walk right back into that moment, something real and not too posed or perfected. Since I have become a mother, this rings more and more true. I can't miss this time with her, it all goes by in a blink of an eye....I think every family should be remembered this way.

Boise Lifestyle Photographer // Mommy Son Session

Exist in Photos

Ever since I had my little girl 7 months ago, I have been reluctant to get in front of the camera with Amelia. Convenient crops and flattering angles have been my very very best friends. For the past few months I have been connecting with other new mommies to talk all things babies. It has been nice asking questions and seeing if I am doing the right things or completely failing as a mom. Meagan of Blush Photography here in Boise is one of my "mommy" friends.  Among all the other things, I asked her if she had gotten any photos with her son Kaeson, she regrettably said no but that she would like to. We both shared how much we wished we were more in shape and finding time to work out with new babies and running photography businesses was literally impossible. Nevertheless, since I am a photographer I said it was time to get some pics of that sweet squishy little boy and his mommy.  Just like me, she needs to exist in photos, and I promise to do that very very soon....:) Here is baby Kaeson and his mommy.
